The culture of Atlas Travel has always been a richly thoughtful and caring one. Our CEO, Elaine Osgood, comes from an education and child advocacy background and has been an active and involved member of the community. She served as a Corporator of Milford Regional Medical Center and has chaired its black-tie fundraising gala committee since the Mélange event launched several years ago. Most recently, Elaine joined the advisory group for Girls Inc. This passion for giving back to the communities we’re a part of is something that is echoed by the Atlas employees and what inspired the creation of our CSR program, ReachOut.

ReachOut Mission Statement: Empower our employees to engage in charitable opportunities, complementing a company-wide focus on women and children’s causes. Continually foster a culture of volunteerism and community involvement that promotes the core values of Atlas Travel & Technology Group.

Our ReachOut committee helps administer our CSR program and also sets the agenda for outside volunteer opportunities. The committee has developed a partnership with Tourism Cares, a non-profit organization supported by the travel industry with a mission to preserve the travel experience for future generations.

In an effort to minimize our carbon footprint, we have contracted with Waste Management and instituted a recycling program at our headquarters that includes, paper, plastic and aluminum. In addition to our recycling program, we encourage scanned documents versus printed documents and have replaced equipment with more efficient models. These are just a few of the initiatives that we have conducted.

Atlas ensures compliance with all labor and workplace health and safety (OSHA) laws, regulations and codes. All employees sign off on our handbook which includes business ethics.
